Timpson Ltd has been a high street name for over 100 yrs and a major factor behind this success has been our long term commitment to high quality training for our high quality people. In 2006 we rolled out our NW based Locksmith operations nationally supported by a combination of our own directly employed, experienced Locksmiths and a number of good, independent contractors.

We have recently developed our own in-house state of the art training facilities aimed at widening the skill set of our existing Locksmiths, as well as offering a comprehensive training program to new recruits looking to get into the Locksmith industry.

The Locksmith training programme will be modular, and have 3 Levels. Level 1, the basic Locksmith course has been designed by the industries award winning Master Locksmith, Mick Friend FBLI, and Author of 'The Encyclopedia for Locksmiths' and previously Chairman of the MLA. Levels 2 & 3 are in development, but will concentrate, in depth, on a wide variety of Locksmith specialist topics such as key impressioning, safe opening, advanced car opening & key programming, and advanced electronic access control systems.
